  1. Anne -

I didn't know that the Dingač wine was also from the plavac mali grapes, I tasted the Dingač in Croatia on vacation and it was a delicate wine. Here in the Netherlands trying to find these in the local liquor stores, but that's impossible, the Dingač wine is just very hard to get in the traditional liquor stores. Fortunately, the internet offers a solution, after I got in touch it was explained to me that most wines, including the wine from Croatia, get the name from the grapes that are used for it, and the wines that a cuvée (I call it blend) can get another name. And specifically for the Dingač wine, which has apparently been given a different name despite the fact that it is made from Plavac Mali grapes, while both wines are made specifically in southern Croatia.

This Plavac Mali from the winery Blato from Korcula (take the Vrhunsko vino) is certainly not inferior to the Dingač, I think this plavac mali wine really a lovely smooth fruity wine with a perfect balance in everything. Wm recommended.

plavac mali is a wine with character, solid wine, good to drink, fruity aroma

  3. Marcel -

De plavac mali wine is reminiscent of the Italian variant Primitivo wine. This one plavac mali is strong and dark in color. Some aromas of blackberries, cherries, spices, anise, chocolate with a soft bitter. Taste of this plavac mali is elegant, smooth and intense and because it contains a lot of tannins, the wine can be stored well.

  4. Cornelis -

This plavac mali is fine due to its age, it has aged for a number of years, you can taste that. He has a reasonable amount of alcohol, but is not overweight. Aromas of cocoa, blackberries, cherries, spices. Fine wine.

  5. John Elzinga -

Full-bodied, tasty wine, with a flavor profile of black cherry, black plum, toast and a hint of rose petals. Spicy in the mouth with firm tannins, but as it ages it becomes easier and better to drink this Plavac Mali. My advice would therefore be go for a bottle of wine that is at least a few years old.
